Supporting Personal and Professional Growth of Young Entrepreneurs
Empowering Minds (EM) is an educational program designed to support the personal and professional growth of young adults and adults. This project is a Small-scale Partnership in Adult Education (KA210-ADU), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
The project runs for 12 months, from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2025. It is a transnational collaboration between two key organizations:
In today's rapidly changing job market, traditional employment paths are becoming less stable. We see a high rate of temporary work contracts among young people in both Belgium and Sweden and a low rate of self-employment in the 25-40 age group.
While business incubators are vital for new ideas, they often lack sufficient tools for personal development and mental health care. This can prevent entrepreneurs from sustaining themselves and their ideas in the long run.
The Empowering Minds project is focused on three main objectives:
Providing the target group with tools to improve their mental well-being, which serves as a foundation for the longevity of their ideas.
Offering a different approach to entrepreneurship, one that can be driven by passion rather than exclusively by profit. This equips entrepreneurs to better face adversity.
Contributing to solutions that raise the number of young, self-employed entrepreneurs.
Young adults and adults, aged 25-40, in Sweden and Belgium.
